The Cameroonian showbiz community in the diaspora especially artists have always complained of lack of recognition, respect given the work they put in.
Yesterday 12th March, pictures surfaced online showing the reception that South African based Cameroonian artist, Alino Alino received when he came home to Cameroon on Monday 11th. He was received at the airport by members of the Traditional media, bloggers, media influencers and some of his fans.
The singer known for his lavish music, came to Cameroon to do media tour, Club tour and shoot a new music project with Cameroon music giant – Mr. Leo.
The meeting with the media looked interactive and entertaining as we see in the pictures below, especially seeing from the facial expressions of the journalists.
I’m happy Cameroonian artists are getting the attention that they deserve and I wish that same reception is given to other artists when they go for shows to other countries.
