Olgha Nk of Bimmac sounds record label launches a gofundme campaign as she gets admission into the prestigious Berklee College of Music.

Olgha Nkweti, with artist name “Olgha Nk”, is a singer, songwriter and poet from the English-speaking Region of Cameroon.

Olgha Nk just got admission into Berklee College of Music in Boston and she is the first person from Cameroon to have this honour. Berklee is one of the most prestigious music institutions in the world and boasts of music greats such as Quincy Jones, John Mayer, Tiwa Savage and Timi Dakolo.
Due to her love for learning and sharing knowledge, Olgha has partnered with several Talent Show Organizers in her country in the capacity of a vocal coach, teaching and motivating the show contestants. She has also hosted Talent Development seminars and has performed live shows around the country to the growing appreciation of her public.
At the moment she has two music videos (“STAND STRONG” written as an encouragement to never let go of your dreams and “COLD”, written to raise awareness on the conflict happening in Cameroon) available on YouTube.
Olgha has never had formal training in music due lack of necessary artistic and educational infrastructure to permit young talents develop their skills to the max in Cameroon.
To break out of this glass ceiling therefore, she applied to Berklee College of Music, in Boston and lucky enough she got admitted into the school.

Olgha now has a chance at developing her artistic skills in one of the best music institutions in the world and interact, share art with gifted persons from around the globe. This will not only help her become the best artist she can be, but will give her the push necessary to go back home and positively impact art in her country.
Olgha Nk was honoured with a partial scholarship of $14,000 from the school. However she needs an additional $30,000 in order to be able to attend school, which is the amount showcased on the campaign.
Although the school requires additional expenses such as paying for a software bundle costing $1,407, getting a Berklee Macbook pro costing $2,278 and also finding room and board in Boston, her main worry is the tuition and this is why $30,000 is the target amount on the Campaign.
