Miss Southwest 2020 second runner-up and Niki Heat Model Merit Atah departed Douala on the 6th of December 2019 for Seoul, South Korea where she will represent Cameroon at the 30th edition of the World Miss University pageant. The finals are scheduled for 18 December.
World Miss University is an international beauty contest held annually in Seoul, South Korea since 1986, with an average of about 70 contestants every year. The contest was established to celebrate the announcement of the United Nation’s “International Year of Peace” and winners become World Miss University Peace Corp Representatives charged with advocating for peace around the world.
The event is organized by World Miss University Organizing Committee which has headquarters in Manhattan, New York, United States. The reigning queen is 24-year-old Adriana Moya from Costa Rica who won the crown in 2018.
The month December is setting up to be a busy one for Cameroon’s premier model agency Niki Heat Model Management with its models involved in 3 major pageants; Miss Cameroon, Miss Africa, and World Miss University. Please support them and wish them luck.
