Ko-C joins Red Line Africa founded by former Universal Music Africa Managing Director, Moussa Soumbounou in a distribution and booking deal for an undisclosed duration.
Moussa SOUMBOUNOU, CEO & Founder at Red Line Africa recently announced via the Red line Africa Facebook page that they’ve reached an agreement with Ko-C and his label, Powerhouse Entertainment to accompany them through the distribution of their songs and management of his bookings for events and tours.
Red Line which is now the new home of Ko-C is a 360° creative agency that handles Events, Communication, Celebrity Marketing, Management, Production and consulting. The agency was created a couple of weeks after Mr. Moussa Soumbounou quit his job at Universal Music Africa.
What Does Red Line Africa Bring to the table?
As booking agents, Red line will be responsible to book Ko-C for shows both local and International, book halls or festivals to buy the concert for him. They may also choose to organizer his own shows entirely, and thus remunerate themselves with the eventual profits from the event.
Also, as distribution agents, Red Line will take charge of distributing Ko-C‘s songs to both online and offline. They will distribute Ko-C‘s music in digital format to online music platforms such as iTunes, Spotify, AmazonMP3 and others. And they will ensure that royalties for the use of the music is passed back to Ko-C and his label, Powerhouse Entertainment.
Last January, Red Line Africa announced to accompany Burna Boy during his “African Giant” tour. Visibly, the agency is out for some serious business.
In the statement announcing this deal, Red Line Africa expressed their gratitude and said “We are particularly proud and motivated at the idea of being able to support this great talent in his career development as a distributor and tour manager.
From us at KESA, we wish Ko-C and his new team the very best in their adventure. More hits, more deals, more tours coming. KESA will keep us all updated.
