Erna celebrates being “Different” in Latest Gospel Music Release

Erna is Cameroonian gospel artiste who recently unveiled a new music project titled “Different”.

Today, I wish to draw our attention to this young and very vibrant talent called Ernestine Erna Mba who bears the stage name Erna. Erna is among very few young Cameroonian gospel singers, signed to USA based record label, Constellation Entertainment.

Since signing with Constellation in 2018, Erna has been very consistent in dropping music projects which has given her the opportunity to fulfill her mission to touch lives and safe souls using her voice like she would love to do.

I first heard about her about a year ago when she released the song “E Go Pay” directed by NE. FILMS. Since then, I’ve been keeping a tab on her especially considering that she had a good PR team accompanying her.

Check out this Biography piece that we did on her back in September 2019:

In September of 2016, Erna unveiled this very beautiful project titled “Associé Na Nga” of which to me is her best project till date.

In “Associé Na Nga”, Erna revealed the intensity of her relationship with Jesus Christ, her savior whom she considers to be her new partner, for the rest of her life. This song currently stands at 19k views on YouTube. Though I think it deserves better, I note it must have several thousand streams on other steaming platforms.

Last week, August 13th, Erna came through again with another video titled “Different” produced by Dijay Cliff.

Here again, she thanks God because she is DIFFERENT and also for him paying the prize. The song was beautifully composed and delivered in English and French.

Erna may not have had our attention yet, but I’m happy her team continue to put work out there and continue to make her as relevant as she deserves.

The Gospel music genre in Cameroon is not the most commercial. Only recently that we saw other female Gospel talents like Akubai and Maureen Forbah gain spotlight. I personally think that we need to pay more attention to them and get them be Gospel artiste celebrities like in other countries.
