Cameroonian movie production house, Embi Productions recently confirmed the date and Venue of the premiere of the much-awaited movie, “Saving Mbango” produced by their CEO, Stephanie Tum.
“Saving Mbango” the Movie will be premiered on October 26th, 2019 at Canal Olympia, Douala.
The date and venue announcement followed a confirmation of partnership with Telecom giants, Orange Cameroon. This partnership comes at a time when there have been serious discussions and debates among key influencers and media personalities about creating a merger or mutually beneficial partnership between the Entertainment Industry and the Corporate giants like Orange.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday August 21st, Edwin Eselem, brand manager of Orange Cameroon confirmed this partnership and further explained that Orange is taking a 360-degree lead in the organization, promotion and premiere of the movie.
Orange, who signed a strategic partnership with Canal Olympia Cinema network will secure this venue for the premier and integrate Orange Money, its flagship mobile-based money transfer service which will allow participants pay for tickets directly using their mobile phones.
In a recent outing on their Facebook page, Embi Productions in trying to address the debate about ticket prices assured fans and movie lovers that they are aware of the magnitude of the problem so they are having a discussion with their partners on how to improve the industry as a whole, not only the premiere experience and they are dedicated to playing an integral part in growing the movie industry.
“Saving Mbango” attracted the attention of many movie lovers during and after the shooting in the town of Mondoni, South West Region of Cameroon. Many are looking forward to the premier following as we see massive social media engagements on the hashtag #SavingMbango.
