Mister Elad is a Cameroonian singer, songwriter, sound engineer and record producer born and raised in the South West town of Kumba.
Mister Elad first caught public attention when he guest appeared on rapper Jovi’s afro rap tune All I Have“. The same year he later went ahead to produce and write Museba’s “Bom Bom Bom” hit track that enjoyed heavy airplay on both local and international media outfits.
He later signed to MuMaK/Mudhouse in 2013 where he dropped his first official single titled “Chakara“, a classic afro love song that quickly became the ladies favorite. In 2015 signed under Sonolive, he then dropped “Yamoh”, a club tune that enjoyed relative commercial success.
Since 2017 Mister Elad is signed under P Matt Records, same record label that signed rap heavyweight Nernos Le Kamsi. Some months back, he dropped “Gimme Dat“, his third official single that gained fair media attention.
Mister Elad is a versatile musician that plays the keyboard, guitar with plenty of dexterity. Over the years he has also produced and written tracks for key artistes such as Museba (Bom Bom Bom), Linx (Ashia), Blanche Bailly (Cam We Stay) and Nernos (Allo l’Argent) just to name a few.
For My Head, his latest single released in February 2019, is yet another love tune beautifully flavored with a savant mélange of Afrobeat, dancehall and zouk. And recently, the visuals of the melodious piece sublimated by Dr. Nkeng Stephens who will make us travel to Planet of Love.
