Covid 19: Brasseries du Cameroon (SABC Group) donates hand washing stations in markets

Brasseries du Cameroon Takes Up Social Responsibility against Coronavirus Covid 19 in Cameroon.

Cameroonian Brewing company, Les Brasseries du Cameroon (SABC) continued their great efforts in the fight against Covid 19 recently as they Installed hand washing stations in the markets of all 10 regions of Cameroon.

After offering medical equipment, hydroalcoholic solutions and necessities in 33 hospitals and 26 prisons in Cameroon, Brasseries du Cameroon (SABC) continues its societal commitment against COVID-19 in the markets.

In view of the fact that regular hand washing is one of the barrier measures highly recommended by specialists as a means of prevention against COVID-19, Brasseries du Cameroon (SABC) recently supplied the main markets of the 10 cities of Cameroon with hand washing stations.

The official launch of this operation took place on May 7, 2020 at the PK10 Market in the city of Douala in the presence of the Mayor of the city of Douala Mr. Roger MBASSA NDINE, the Director General of the SABC Group, Mr. Emmanuel DE TAILLY. The team later continued to install the washing machines in 19 other markets in Douala.

In Bamenda, Officials of Les Brasseries Du Cameroun (SABC Group) donated eight tap containers of 1000 litres each to some major markets in the Bamenda I, II and III municipalities in the presence of the Bamenda City Mayor, Paul Achobong and the Senior Chief of Commercial Service for Brasseries in Bamenda, Mr. Chi Francis. These hand washing stations were installed in the Food Market, Main Market, Nkwen Market and at Up Station.

Over 16 markets in Yaounde received hand washing stations while similar donations were done in Bafoussam, Garoua, Limbe, Maroua, Kribi, Ebolowa and Kumba, with all these towns receiving at least 5 washing stations.
