Cameroon officially records a total of 554 cases of Corona Virus (Covid-19) this Saturday 4th April 2020.
45 New Cases of Corona Virus (Covid-19) were discovered today with 1 death takes the total number of cases up to 554 and total deaths to 9. This was confirmed by the state media on their official Facebook page.
Recall, the Government’s strategy to track down cases of the Corona Virus (Covid-19) as announced by the Minister of Health;
- Massive and generalized testing
- Placement in immediate treatment of cases
- Active surveillance of suspect cases
- Awareness of the populations (hygiene, distance, etc.)
- Border control
- Development of reliable local expertise for the response
