Cameroon officially records a total of 306 positive cases of Corona Virus (Covid-19).
Corona Virus (Covid-19) disease is an infectious disease caused by a new virus which is widely spreading through the world and hitting hard on many countries including China, Spain, Italy and the USA.
According to Worldometer, current Coronavirus figures stand at over 1m cases and over 50,000 deaths, affecting 203 countries and regions. The WHO has warned of an increase in the spread of the virus in the coming days.

Thursday, April 2: 20:00 GMT +1 – Cameroon reports a total of 306 cases.
The number of cases of coronavirus in Cameroon surpassed 300 this Thursday 2nd April 2020 as confirmed by the Minister of Health in a tweet. The tweet further explained that Cameroon has 8 deaths and 10 recovered patients from Covid 19.

The Cameroon institute of plant and medicinal studies (IMPM) confirms having the capacity to screen hundreds of people per day for #COVID19 and that they can produce 6000 tablets of hydroxychloroquine per minute. The Minister of Scientific Research after visiting the institute today is awaiting authorizations from the upper house to launch production.
Cameroonian billionaire businessman, Baba Ahmadou Danpullo donates 100m to combat Coronavirus. This money is added in the national solidarity fund created by President Paul Biya to fight the propagation of #Covid19. The fund was created with an initial capital of one billion CFAF.
