Cameroon officially has a total of 730 cases tested positive for CoronaVirus (Covid-19) today April 8th, 2020
Corona Virus (Covid-19) virus cases keep soaring in Cameroon as 45 cases were discovered today taking the number of cases to 730 from 685. Unfortunately, one death was recorded today rising the number of deaths to 10. Total recovered cases are at 60 cases.
The communique taking rounds on social media with the information that schools will soon resume has been debunked. The minister of Secondary Education, Nalova Lyonga in an interview with CRTV made it clear that that document is fake. She further explained that the head of state deemed it wise to suspend schools due to the fast spread of COVID-19 and has not seen reason for it to resume, She said the ministries of Education have no such power to resume schools. Minister Nalova stated that her signature on the said communique was photocopied out from another document. Below is a copy of the document termed fake by the Minister of secondary education.

The Corona Virus (Covid-19) has hit the world very hard. According to Worldometer there are over one million four hundred thousand (1,496,335) cases. Fatalities are over Eighty Seven thousand ( 87,617) and total recovered stands at three hundred and nineteen thousand, one hundred and sixty(319,160).
Total confirmed coronavirus cases in Africa: 11,310; Recovered: 1,351; Confirmed deaths: 570.
The USA is currently the most hit country with a total of 422,510 cases. Coronavirus death toll surpassed 14,000 in US today April 8th, 2020.
