It is still unclear why no Cameroonian artiste made the list of performers. Worth mentioning that several other countries were ignored especially countries in the North and Central Africa. However, the fact that the show will be hosted on YouTube and funds are to be raised gives a hint that the organizers were targeting artistes and music economies who hit the biggest numbers on YouTube. Perhaps, artistes from these other countries could make the list following how “High” the bar was set.

Again, given the fact that Cameroon is considered a “Francophone” country, and only Fally Ipupa made the list from a Francophone country, it’s safe to say he was selected because of the influence he has in the whole of French Africa.

The concert will stream on MTV Base channels in Africa.
