Cameroonian artist and producer, Blaise B AKA Akwandor popularly referred to as “His Vocal Highness” recently revealed to fans the secret behind his natural voice and vocals.
In a Facebook post on May 7th, Blaise B made this revelation while wishing a happy birthday to Mr. Emil Ngumbah Molindo, the CEO of M1 Studios Buea.
He says the only reason why his voice sounds natural whenever he sings Live is all thanks to the Living Legend, Emil Ngumbah. He adds that under his mentorship, he learnt a lot and it is who he is today. (Screenshots from Facebook post attached).
M1 Studios under the control and stewardship of Mr. Emil Ngumbah is one of the most renowned and celebrated recording labels in Cameroon. Based in the bustling town of Buea in the South West region, M1 Studios has worked with many popular Cameroonian artists – Achalle, Bate Nico, Bright Phase, Narcisse Pryze, Salatiel, Blaise B and others.
Blaise B and many other artists have benefited from Mr. Emil and his training sessions who brought out strategies to discover the talents in them.
Worthy of note that Salatiel, CEO of Blaise B‘s current label, Alpha Better records in wishing a happy birthday to Mr. Emile, also thanked him for his stewardship during his time at M1 studios and confirmed that he learnt producing, mixing and mastering at same studio.
We rarely see artists appreciating and acknowledging their mentors. This will go a long way to guide the new artists towards the right path. At KESA, we want to join Blaise B to wish his mentor and boss a happy belated birthday.
