Ballantine’s Scotch whiskey, true to its desire to place the brand in a sustainable and circular economy presents its new roll on pilfer proof (ROPP) cap to replace the traditional NR (non-refillable) cap.

This new cap is designed to reduce single-use plastic on our bottles and hence allows a clear improvement in terms of sustainability and environmental protection.

Ballentine's new closure

The new ROPP cap is applied on a selection of bottles from Ballantine’s Scotch Whiskey range, including Ballantine’s Finest and Ballantine’s Brazil.
The new ROPP cap allows our bartenders, business partners, distributors and consumers to use a standard spout cap. Bars, restaurants, snack bars and clubs can be assured that this new bottle will fit in right with the others!

The bottle’s design has undergone some slight changes, which are hardly noticeable.
The main change here is on the bottle’s cap and a slight thinning of the neck.
With Ballentine’s new more universal, durable and circular bottle closure system, drinking only gets better!
