Corona Virus (Covid-19) cases in Cameroon soared to 650 in Cameroon this Sunday 5th 2020, with total fatalities remaining at 9 total and recoveries at 17.
The state media house, CRTV announced the Corona Virus (Covid-19) figures in a tweet by 8pm.
“We went to 650 tonight. Unfortunately, it will still climb these days with the massive testing campaign that we launched. So, we all MUST, cover our noses and mouths when we leave our house. Please, protect our lives and the lives of others” – Dr MANAOUDA MALACHIE
Cameroon’s Health Minister also announced that a pregnant woman infected with coronavirus gave birth last night in Yaoundé. The first baby was born to covid-19 positive mother at the central hospital of Yaounde. He ended by appreciating the medical personnel of the hospital that successfully delivered the child.
Covid-19 hits the legal corps in Cameroon. Cameroonian lawyer, Barrister Woappi Zacharie has been laid to rest in Douala after he died from the deadly coronavirus. Barrister Woappi took his last breath late last night after battling with coronavirus for days. MMI
