Cameroonian TV Series Samba – Rhythm of a new Dawn is set to Premiere on Africa Magic Showcase on January 21st 2020 at 9pm sharp.
This TV show Produced by Brenda Elung of Omega One Entertainment and Directed by Enah Johnscott has been termed by many the most Glamorous and Stylish show in the country.
It features top Class Anglophone Cameroon actors such as Ade Kelly, Libota McDonaldd, Nsang Dilong, Desmond Wyte, Epule Jeffery, Syritte Che, Nyna Marie, Ottia Vitalis, Brenda Elung, Eystein Yong, Fonde Collins, Vugah Samson and Nigerian actress Helen Paul.
These actors alongside a passionate crew were determined to make the Cameroon movie industry known in Africa and the world at Large through the professionality and excellence of this show.
Samba is a story of Two ambitious beautiful married entrepreneurial Ladies who own a Fashion label called ”SAMBA’‘ who are dedicated are very determined to become more popular to the point where they are recognized worldwide as owners of a High Class Fashion Brand.
Things start getting tough when they discover they have an enemy who wants to bring them down. Basically, Samba is all about modern Culture and Fashion, Love, Jealousy and Betrayal.
In 2017, Samba was nominated in 4 categories at the Golden Movies Awards Africa and she came back with three awards ; Best Actress in a series (Samba) Ade Kelly, Best actor Libota McDonald, and Best Series. These awards were collected by the CEO of Omega1 Entertainment Brenda Shey Elung during the live award show that took place in Accra Ghana on July 22nd 2017.
Samba also won Best TV Series at the Festival Ecrans Noir in 2018, and still in 2018 won Best Trendy Camer Attitude Movie/film at the CFAAWARDS.
This TV show which was shot in Limbe, Cameroon in 2016 was the maiden project of Omega1 Entertainment with 52 Episodes, and was conceived with the aim of setting and leading a good pace for TV series in Cameroon.
