12 Candidates set for Mutzig Star 2019 Semi Finals with Ruben Binam, Coco Argentée and Salatiel as part of the jury.
12 Candidates have advanced to the Semi Finals of Mutzig Star 2019 following qualifications that broadcasted last Saturday 12th October 2019 on Canal 2, CRTV and Equinox Tv. Among the finalists are Veronique Eyali, Vanhels Djoko, Wilfried Nlate, Michelle Durelle, Jonathan Tankou From Yaounde And Mfede Marietta, Mouafo Gabel Archange, Mercy Kien, Nda Chi and Albert Missengue all from Douala. The jury made up of Ruben Binam, Coco Argentée and Salatiel will have the difficult task of assessing the candidates’ performance and choosing six who will compete in the grand national final.
Diamond Platnumz Announces Cameroon Concerts Alongside Stanley Enow And Blanche Bailly
One of Africa’s greatest musicians, Diamond Platnumz is billed to perform at two electrifying shows in Cameroon on 22 November 2019 at Las Vegas VIP, Bonamoussadi, Douala and on 23 November 2019 at Paradis VIP Night Club Akwa, Douala. Stanley Enow Makes Movie Acting Debut in the United States
Stanley Enow recently confirmed making a debut in Acting, staring in a movie titled “Return to Kingship”. The movie produced and directed by Cameroonian filmmaker based in the USA Big Steve Agbor has as guest director Award Winning Ghanaian director Frank Rajah. Stanley Enow will be acting alongside star Cameroonian actress based in Ghana Okawa Shaznay, Minette Rhema and Nollywood Actor Joseph Benjamin.
Almost A Night Awards 2019 set to close Submission/ Nomination for 2019 Edition
The organizers of the Almost A night Awards will be closing the nomination/submission form for the 2019 edition of the awards. Almost a Night Awards is an experience organized every end of year to recognize the importance of entertainment as well as its impact on society. The event to be held in Bamenda will be composed of a mélange of music, poetry, dance and an Award to 22 outstanding young people who are positively contributing with their talents to the advancement of Cameroon.
Samuel Eto’o Launches Betting Platform “Betoo”.
After recently retiring from Football, Samuel Eto’o has launched a betting platform in Cameroon for Cameroonians only called “Betoo”. Betoo offers betting games for Football, Handball, Tennis and Basketball. Eto’o calls on all Cameroonians to support the project and says he came up with it because his life is a combination of bets won.

Askia’s Bag Series giving birth to the Bag Concert
Cameroonian rapper, Askia who has in the past months pushed through with her bag series which entails collaborating with other female rappers to encourage unity amongst them is set to organize a “Bag Concert” that will as well see only female artistes perform. A meeting was held this past week regarding this project, that brought together top stakeholders and entertainers like Askia, Rhyme Qilla, Meshi, Gasha, Yung Meagan, Tino Foy and Bonteh Engelbert among others.
Ben Decca signs for Universal Music Africa
Legendary Cameroonian Makossa singer, Ben Decca was finally unveiled as Universal Music Africa’s latest signee from Cameroon this past week. After over 35 successful years in Music, Ben Decca decides to join the African giant label who have not been shy in their intensions to control a great portion of Cameroon music.
Jovi working on a project with M.anifest and Burna boy.
Unconfirmed reports and articles from several blogs and key industry personalities state that Cameroonian rapper, Jovi aka Mboko God may be working on a new project with Ghana’s M.anifest and Burna Boy from Nigeria. Jovi had earlier tweeted that he is “working with the biggest who ever did it”. However, no official confirmation from him or the other artistes on this but sources indicate it’s close to happening and they are just making final arrangements. We’ll feed you with updates once we get some.

Embi Productions organizes “Saving Mbango Breast Cancer Walk”
The Embi Productions team in collaboration with Orange Cameroon last Saturday 12 October organized a “Saving Mbango” breast cancer awareness Walk from Orange Hq Makepe to Carrefour Supermarket Bonamoussadi. This is also in a build up to the official premier of the movie “Saving Mbango” scheduled for next week 26th October at Canal Olympia Douala. Watch Trailer HERE.
